Picking A Nourishing Harvest back up

Throughout a busy year+ of work and tending our new home and gardens, I took a break from writing articles for A Nourishing Harvest. However, this project has never been far from my mind. I continue to feel passionate about researching and sharing about contamination issues that affect gardeners and foragers, helping plant folks feel empowered and informed without having to dig up this information themselves. We should all have easy access to the contamination history of our communities and other concerns relevant to harvesting our own food and medicine.

Given a bit of free time during a week off from work this month, I couldn't help diving back in. I set up a new Instagram account (@anourishingharvest) so I can share resources even when I can't make time to pen a full article.

Starting in August, my goal is to return to sharing an article a month here on the A Nourishing Harvest website. As always, all articles are free and publicly available.

For those who would like to support this project and receive some fun perks, I've also revamped the Patreon page. I'm excited to share new bonuses with patrons, including exclusive interviews with experts, video classes in my herb garden or on a foraging walk, commenting power at the bottom of articles, first-in-line status if you have topics you'd like me to research, and more.

Patrons help fund the purchase of books, journal articles, and subscriptions I use to write articles; transportation to spaces I'm researching; my website, and the Zoom account I use for interviews; and a slice of the time I spend researching and writing.

Thank you for coming along with me!
